Derfor skal du huske julegaven til dine medarbejdere

De danske virksomheder er oftest nogle fortrinlige steder at arbejde i. I et moderne land som Danmark fokuserer vi nemlig meget på trivsel på arbejdspladsen. Det skyldes naturligvis, at arbejdet fylder meget i vores liv, og at vi skal være glade, når vi er der. Helt for medarbejderens skyld er det dog nok ikke. For virksomheden får naturligvis også udført mere arbejde, når arbejdsglæden er stor. Derved stiger indtjeningsgrundlaget også.

Dine ansatte går naturligvis op i, at de udvikler sig fagligt og har meningsfulde opgaver at give sig til i deres dagligdag. Men en af de øvrige måder, virksomheden kan holde de ansatte glade på, er ved at huske de bløde værdier.

Bløde værdier er f.eks. ros og anerkendelse fra chefer og mellemledere. Det betyder, at den ansatte vil føle sig set, og at personens indsats bemærkes.

En øvrig tendens, der særligt er vokset i det seneste årti, er at virksomheder giver julegaver til medarbejdere. Man kan selvfølgelig spørge sig selv, om ikke dette hører sig til den mere private arena, da det jo er en højtid. Her er det dog vigtigt at huske, at gaven også har en symbolsk medbetydning, når den gives. Gaven er nemlig ikke bare en ting, men også en anerkendelse, som bruges til at sige tak for det år, som netop er gået. Samtidig er det med til at italesætte arbejdspladsen som et rart sted at være, hvor en af værdierne er at man tilgodeser sine ansatte. Et sådant ry vil man naturligvis gerne have. Ikke bare for at beholde sine gode ansatte, men også for at tiltrække nye.

Som virksomhed skal du derfor huske julegaven til dine medarbejdere, for at vise anerkendelse og vise virksomhedens bløde, medmenneskelige ansigt. Det er en fin anerkendelse, som også tillader medarbejderen at vinde ansigt på hjemmefronten og rent personligt taler ind i narrativet om at være en vigtig og værdsat del af en arbejdsplads.
