På ravjagt med rav kese

Hvis du, ligesom jeg nyder at gå lange ture på stranden i jagten på rav, så skal du læse videre. Jeg elsker nemlig at få masser af frisk luft og samtidig stresse af med en god ravjagt og forhåbentligt få pæne stykker rav med hjem til samlingen. For et stykke tid siden blev mødte jeg et ægtepar på en af mine ravture og de gik med ‘en si på en pind’ altså en rav-kese, som efterfølgende har vist sig at være er en god følgesvend på stranden både i dagtimerne med også i mørkt når du bruger en Ravlygte.

Hvad er en rav-kese ?

En rav-kese hjælper dig når du skal finde rav i vandet både på dybere vand men også når du blot finder rav i vandkanten. Den bruges i dagtimerne om natten når du går med en ravlygte.
Den helt store fordel med en rav-kese er at du meget lettere kan finde rav i vandet ved blot at sætte rav-kesen ned i de huller der findes med tang og skaller og så trække den op igen for at undersøge hvad der gemte sig under netop tang og skaller.

De kloge mennesker

Man behøver ikke ravlygter med UV-lys for at finde frem til klogskab og lærdom. Alt man behøver er at lytte til, hvad ældre mennesker kan fortælle om deres liv. Dér lærer man en masse om livets gang, og om hvordan vi mennesker lever til forskellige tider.  Forleden dag havde vi blandt andre mine bedsteforældre med ud på ravjagt og det blev en dag, som vores to små knægte sent vil glemme. Mine bedsteforældre har boet ved Vesterhavet hele deres lange liv og de har gjort mange fund i årenes løb. Den dag trak de derfor de allerbedste historier op af hatten til ære for vores to knægte, som til gengæld sad som tryllebundne, da oldefar og oldemor gik i gang med at fortælle om alle deres ravfund fra da de startede med at samle rav i starten af 1960 og det mest underlige var at han selvfølgelige allerede tilbage i 1960 havde brugt en rav-kese til at samle ravet op ude i vandet så det var absolut ikke nyt for ham.
